Before Abby was set apart, Blake took her on a CORVETTE ride. I think Abby was wishing it could have been to Bear Lake, but unfortunately time was scarce so they only had time to go to the store to get Abby a prepaid phone card. Not quite the last ride she was hoping for, but she was happy anyway!
And one final goodbye to our good neighbor and Abby's playmate and friend her whole life, Meagan Ellis.
We got a little serenade from Grandma Call on Sophie's ukulele. It was priceless!!
We had only immediate family come when President Barfuss came tonight at 7:00 p.m. to set Abby apart as a missionary. Bishop Zollinger came along with Nan, Pop, Grandma Call, Grandma Wright, Gramps Wright and of course our family.
It was such a wonderful experience. President Barfuss had each one of us seated in a circle tell why we thought Abby would made a wonderful missionary. It was special to hear everyone and why they thought Abby would succeed. After we got done with that it was time for her to become a real full-time missionary.
President Barfuss gave such a sweet, powerful and special blessing to Abby. It lasted almost 10 minutes. After that we all got hugs and of course I got the camera out and started snapping away!

After the setting apart Jen Weber and Nano came over to be with Abby.
After taking pictures until the sun went down, we came in for one final weighing to make sure Abby's luggage would make the flight without extra costs. Fifty pounds isn't a lot for 18 months!
Finally... what send-off would be complete without some nail painting around 11:00 p.m.? Sister Wright picks out the perfect neutral color for her fingernails and a fun pop of color for her toenails.
Luggage packed and within weight... It was a perfect ending to a wonderful day!
Until 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning as Abby says, "Peace out, girl scout!"
